Delete your ShifaMate account from the app, or request data deletion below. Here's exactly how, and what happens to your information.
Delete your account (in the app)
- 1Open the ShifaMate app and sign in.
- 2Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top-right.
- 3Tap "Delete account", then confirm.
Request online
Use this form to request account deletion (if you can't access the app) or data deletion. Data deletion is handled only through this form — there is no in-app option for it. Submit from the details linked to your account so we can verify your identity.

If you delete your data
Your personal data is anonymized. Your account itself stays active and you can keep using the app.
If you delete your account
Your personal data is anonymized in the same way — and, in addition, your account and login are removed, so you can no longer sign in.
What “anonymized” means
For medical, safety, and legal reasons we cannot erase records such as consultation chats, prescriptions, and payment history. Instead, we strip out your name and identifying details so those records can no longer be linked to you — they remain only as de-identified data.
Retention
De-identified records are kept only for as long as required (for example, to meet legal or medical-record obligations) and are deleted once they are no longer needed. Requests are typically processed within 30 days, and we may contact you to verify your identity first.
